Description
A 2-part online mini-course that explores how creatures big and small, all around the world, survive extreme seasons by migrating or hibernating.
During 2 hour-long lessons, the course will explore the concepts of hibernation and migration, and which animals use which survival strategies.
We will discuss and learn about animals and insects ranging from North American bears and butterflies to African birds and beasts of the savannah, and more.
The course will be presented over 2 lessons, live on Zoom, and is designed for kids between 7 and 14 years old.
Course resources will include videos, fun quizzes and practical activities that your kids can do at home after the online lessons.
