About us

Serving the homeschool community since 2020

We’ve arranged and run in-person learning co-ops and unit studies for families in the Garden Route, South Africa, since 2020.
The intent has always been to to expose our kids to new and exciting learning experiences and to build community.

In 2024 we decided to start offering online co-ops so that we can serve families that don’t live in our area.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy course materials?

For most of our courses, yes.

We base many of our courses on the published unit studies from The Good and the Beautiful, which are copyrighted.
For this reason, to allow us to present the course, and for your kids to attend, you need to buy the prescribed materials from their website.

All the details of what to buy and where to buy the materials are explained in the information section of each course we offer.

What happens if we miss an online lesson?

We record all of our Zoom lessons, so if you’re unable to attend, we can share the recording with you, so that your kids don’t miss out on anything.

What about practical activities like projects and experiments?

As most of our courses are presented online, we can’t do many practical activities during the lessons.
However, we do encourage you to do activities, experiments and projects at home – either between lessons or after the course.

Something we like to see is when your kids create science walls or tables, lapbooks or posters about the course they are busy with.
Here are some nice examples in our blog. Click here.
